I have another short term motivation. I am planning to go on a business trip with my husband in October to Paris, London and Geneva. I know I am going to be so uncomfortable on the plane. Anything I can lose before we go will be a benefit to me.
So, our first day of WW at Work will be today. I am preparing myself with a game plan! I made soup already, made sandwiches for today, tomorrow and Friday to take with my soup for lunch. Cut up cantaloupe for breakfast for each morning. I knew this was coming so I bought a little soup thermos and an insulated lunch bag when getting my sons school supplies. Snacks are always and issue. I need to make my ranch salad dressing tonight - supper low in points and tastes great!
Grocery store list for snacks:
Snacks
Red grapes
non-fat sour cream
Ranch dressing mix (just the powder packet)
carrots for dipping
Ranch Dressing Recipe 0 Points for 2 TBSP
1 Package Hidden Valley Ranch Mix Dry
1 Cup Non-Fat Sour Cream
1 Cup Non-Fat Milk
Some days this is too "flavorful" add more sour cream if you want more of a dip or more milk for a thinner dressing.
If I go through 1/2 a cup as a dip I count it as 2 points - there is no free lunch!
